Course Description
This workshop–style course focuses specifically on photovoltaic systems, with a practical emphasis on real–world applications. It provides in–depth knowledge of different types of PV systems and their implementation in specific projects.
What You'll Learn
- Off-grid systems: Configuration, components (panels, batteries, controllers, inverters).
- On-grid systems: Grid connection with and without batteries, hybrid inverters.
- Solar pumping: Pumping systems and automated precision irrigation.
- Practical implementation: Installation, operation, and maintenance of real systems.
Learning Objectives
Upon completing the course, participants will:
✓ Gain a thorough understanding of photovoltaic systems and their applications
✓ Be able to plan, design, and implement basic PV projects
✓ Learn about sustainable operation and maintenance
✓ Work with real-world examples and case studies
